The safest, most effective therapies for optimal health!

Glycoalkaloids are one of a host of 'chemical warfare' defense compounds that plants use to prevent animals - including us, as well as insects, bacteria, fungi and viruses from eating them.
A common form in this family of compounds is solanine - especially high in potatoes, tomatoes, eggplants and peppers - vegetables in the solanaceae category.
NOTE: Other commonly-consumed plants containing solanine are apples, beets, okra and cherries!
ALSO - all of the above plants are bloated variations derived originally from weeds - and bred to be more disease-resistant - which means MORE toxic defense compounds that get consumed by the unsuspecting.
Cooking does not reduce glycoalkaloids.
Glycoalkaloids can stay in the body longer than a full day. If you are eating such 'foods' on a daily basis this poison will accumulate over time, causing increasing physical discomfort and damage. (1)
Glycoalkaloids damage our bodies by
1) weakening outer membranes of our red blood cells, invading the cells
2) destroying mitochondria - the energy generators inside the cells. This means less oxygen and lower energy for us. Worsening mitochondrial damage keeps taking us closer to death.
Glycoalkaloids weaken ALL body cells, causing them to rupture (break) and die. In our gut, this would cause chronic hyper-permeability known as 'leaky gut.'
'Glycoalkaloids in potatoes may induce gastro-intestinal and systemic effects, by cell membrane disruption and acetylcholinesterase inhibition, respectively.' (2)
Mild to moderate glycoalkaloid toxicity symptoms include:
More serious symptoms from high doses include:
Low blood pressure
Spina bifida birth defect
Acute glycoalkaloid toxicity cognitive symptoms:
As little as 1 mg glycoalkaloids per kg of body weight can result in toxicity symptoms:
'...associated with glycoalkaloid poisoning from potatoes include a bitter or burning sensation in the mouth and flu-like symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, stomach and abdominal cramps, and diarrhea. More severe cases of glycoalkaloid poisoning may be accompanied by a variety of neurological effects (i.e. drowsiness, apathy, restlessness, shaking, confusion, weakness, and disturbed vision).' (3)
The unrelenting assault on our red blood cells by wi-fi and all manner of other toxic influences damages our red blood cells and starves us of oxygen.
Consuming foods with high glycoalkaloid content multiplies this damage.
ALL cells in our bodies are damaged by glycoalkaloids. Is it any wonder that our vitality is being sapped - depleting our vigor and resilience?
There are glowing articles trumpeting these compounds as a potential cancer 'cure.' Preliminary studies show that indeed, they induce 'apoptosis' (cell death) of cancer cells in a petri dish.
The ability of glycoalkaloids to destroy cells does not stop there - YOUR HEALTHY CELLS are damaged and killed as well - just like the 'collateral damage' of chemotherapy. Does it make sense to destroy vitality to 'cure' a disease??
It serves us well to question the consumption of plants that did not even exist a hundred or less years ago (not even a blink of the eye in the history of human existence).
With knowledgeable action, we can make dietary changes that will begin to return us to our former robust physical and emotional health.
