High in phytic acid - phytates - inhibits absorption of magnesium, calcium, copper, zinc and iron. Note that zinc is essential for supporting beneficial levels of Testosterone in both men and women. Copper is vital for connective tissue strength.
Phytoestrogens - Long touted as preventing breast cancer and undesireable menopausal symptoms, phytoestrogens have a deleterious effect on hormonal health! Most of what you read tells you to eat plenty of foods containing phytoestrogens. Avoid them; here's why...
Phytoestrogens inhibit Testosterone production and create and overload of estrogen. Phytoestrogens lead to stunted growth in infants, and interfere with normal sexual development.

A new study published on January 8th 2020 finds that both conventional soybean oil high in linoleic acid, AND genetically modified low linoleic acid soybean oil have a deleterious effect on the hypothalamus gland.
Genes in the hypothalamus became dysregulated, with associated inflammation and neurologica, neurochemical and metabolic disturbances. It was determined that neither linoleic acid or stigmasterol in the soybean oil were the cause of the negative impacts on health.
Soybean oil consumption was shown to cause negative genetic changes in approximately 100 genes in the brain. This included genes associated with depression, Alzheimer's and schizophrenia.
The most damaged gene was the one containing codes for oxytocin production. Compromised oxytocin production is linked to autism and depression.
Study author Poonamjot Deol of University of California states, "If there's one message I want people to take away, it's this: Reduce consumption of soybean oil."
