You are THEN advised that these are not 'proven,' but 'try them and see...' You are then told about conventional methods (drugs, etc.) that are 'PROVEN' to work!

The suggestions given for chronic fatigue treatment alternatives are mild. With few exceptions - don't do much to take you to a whole new level of health. You will find that many 'authoritative' sites assert there is no 'cure' and you are stuck with a lifetime condition.

For example: talk therapy, deep breathing, yoga, tai chi, gentle massage, meditation or acupuncture. For supplements, fish oil, magnesium, etc. are offered. These are all NICE, and you may feel some help, but generally won't rock your world.

My Experience

During years of healing from severe mercury poisoning, chronic fatigue treatment consisted of detoxifying and rebuilding my body. Heavy metal toxicity is present in everyone to a greater or lesser extent - this is one among a host of concerns that must be addressed.

The classic symptoms of this condition of debilitating tiredness are low energy combined with inability to get a good night's sleep. Toxins rob energy and at the same time induce agitation that makes it difficult to relax - a life-sapping combination!

The more I detoxed the mercury and other heavy metals, the more energy I had - AND the more restful my sleep. Why would lightening the burden of mercury, lead, aluminum, cadmium, etc. be part of chronic fatigue treatment? Because we all have suffered exposure to some extent or another. These toxins accumulate in our tissues, impairing our health - and - we are exposed to them every day.

ALL toxins impair energy production on a cellular level. The mitochondria (little 'energy generators' inside all your cells) work better when poisons are eliminated. Pharmaceutical drugs are toxic, so the less of them you take, the better as well. It is ironic that people with the above issues are prescribed drugs that also ultimately limit ability to heal.

Bacterial, fungal and viral infections all interfere with energy production as well. Infections of any kind thrive when your metabolism is low. Low metabolism equals low resistance to any disease.

Infections of any kind won't go away while you are heavy metal poisoned. Mercury, lead, etc. interfere big time with your body's ability to detoxify. Also, they can't be detoxed as well if your liver doesn't work well - which it doesn't when metabolism is low and you are riddled with toxins.

As you may now surmise, chronic fatigue treatment is not a simplistic thing! Done well, it leads to an infinitely more pleasurable and rewarding life!

For me, chronic fatigue treatment included super-nutritious diet, coffee enemas, Medicardium EDTA suppository chelation plus suppository products which cleansed the liver and supported liver, gallbladder, kidneys and colon.

I limited my exposure to toxins such as lawn chemicals, perfumes, city environments, household cleaners, commercial body care products, etc.

I also used the best Beta Glucan product to strengthen my white blood cells to take down the infections. As well, the best probiotics went a long way to renewing digestive system functioning.

A wonderful additional measure was to completely rennovate my sleeping environment. My husband and I agreed that keeping the breaker switch to our bedroom off made a night's sleep significantly more peaceful. As well, I bought wool mattress pad, comforter and pillows for the bed - that made sleep time the next thing to heaven.
