How to Choose the BEST to Boost Testosterone and More!
This Mucuna Pruriens review shares my personal experience, to show you how to choose the BEST whole bean powder to boost testosterone and anabolic function, improve mood and enhance libido.
Do YOU want to use Mucuna Pruriens (also called Velvet Bean, Cow-Itch and Buffalo Bean)...
to boost Testosterone and anabolic capacity, increase strength, build muscle and increase libido?
Not all whole-bean powders from this wonderful legume are high in L-Dopa or properly processed to make sure you get the full benefit!
Here, I describe the benefits of high L-Dopa content and give you specific hints on how to know if the Mucuna Pruriens bean powder you buy is of excellent quality.
Below, also, is my unique recipe that enhances your ability to assimilate the L-Dopa contained in this wonderful legume.
Why Should This Mucuna Pruriens Review Interest YOU?
Whether you are a man or woman, younger or older, like to lift weights or not, you may benefit from Mucuna Pruriens. Including it in your dietary program can keep you physically stronger, improve mood, enhance libido and sexual response and help prevent loss of muscle mass.
This legume, also popularly known as Velvet Bean and Cow-itch, is most known for the compound, L-Dopa. While there are extracts on the market, finely ground whole bean is the safest way to go - containing a full spectrum of beneficial compounds in addition to the L-Dopa. Note: Not recommended for pregnant women.
L-Dopa Content of Mucuna Pruriens: How Much is Safe?
Mucuna Pruriens bean powder products vary widely in L-Dopa Content.
In one study, a variety of unprocessed whole ground Mucuna Pruriens samples was shown to contain between 2.18 - 6.17% (average approx. 4.18% pure L-Dopa).
Maximum tolerable daily dose of L-Dopa for a 150 lb person is approx. 1.5 grams (1500 mg).
**Assuming an average L-Dopa content of 40+ mg per gram and 4 grams bean powder to a level teaspoon, maximum dose of whole bean powder would be 7 level teaspoons at the very most, allowing for some variance in potency.
The above potency would be typical of an excellent product. Many samples have been found to contain less than 2% L-Dopa.
I personally would not take more than 5 or 6 level teaspoons of an excellent Macuna product on a daily basis. At my high dose, I average 4 - 5 teaspoons to VERY good effect!**
NOTE: When starting out, build up gradually from 1/4 - 1/2 teaspoon per day!
Mucuna Pruriens L-Dopa: Testosterone Booster!
Mucuna Pruriens initially interested me because men who want to boost testosterone naturally, are among my clients.
Also, woman clients have voiced concerns about losing interest in sex have asked me about female libido enhancement. A small, but essential amount of Testosterone is fuel for the female libido as well!
Personal interest has also fueled my research, as it does with most of my products ;-)
Both men and women need testosterone. In the right amount, this wonderful hormone has a multitude of benefits:
The L-Dopa in Mucuna Pruriens is the precursor to Dopamine, a neurotransmitter.
More Dopamine means more Testosterone!
Because Dopamine prevents prolactin from destroying Testosterone, Mucuna Pruriens in sufficient amounts helps boost Testosterone. Boosting Testosterone naturally increases anabolic capacity, strength and endurance. We have more desire and ambition to challenge our limits. It is easier to build muscle.
Heart and circulatory health, energy, mental clarity, libido and sexual responsiveness, youthful skin, achieving and maintaining athletic levels of muscle mass, optimism and enthusiasm for life all depend on healthy Testosterone levels.
