Chlorella Side Effects Question
Chlorella side effects are a very real concern!
You and other readers are wise to ask questions about mercury and other heavy metal contamination, toxins, and growing conditions.
The quality of various brands of this popular super green food varies so widely that some help remove toxins but others introduce them!

Question: Hi, love your site. I am new to chlorella and bought some from nutsonline don't think i am having probs from it? I am interested in yours though for next purchase. About the olive oil i don't want to buy it now will use butter instead, not able to discern like you said. Can you recommend a brand that is ligit? Also i heard that you have to eat cilantro w/ chlorella to flush out the heavy metals? Is that true? About it grown outdoors, what about chemtrails-heavy metals I have contacted a few about this concern of mine and no one knows? Pretty sad isn't it that we have to bump into toxins everywhere and that manufacturers are liars. thanks let me know if you know.
Answer: Thanks for your questions.
I took a look at the chlorella from nutsonline. While you may not find any side effects from it, there is NO indication where it comes from or even IF it is 100% real chlorella - or IF it even has any chlorella in it AT ALL!
At such a cheap price of $21.00 per pound, I would be asking all those questions and more! There are MANY species of single-celled greens that grow in ponds. Some contain neurotoxins which harm nerve tissues of the body.
I personally would never take a second look at this chlorella!
Chlorella grown without outdoor sunlight has little benefit, therefore it needs to be grown outdoors. The brand I carry is grown in clean, carefully monitored pools, fed minerals and the water is constantly filtered and cleansed. The process is overseen by Dr. Dietrich Klinghardt, world mercury detox expert. Every product he selects and supervises is superb; I am very impressed.
Right now I am trialling another of his products; I always use all products myself and begin introducing them to clients, family and my colleagues in the health field before I put them up on my site.
As to chemtrails - yes, everywhere we turn we are around some kind of human-generated toxins. The best chlorella grower will cover the ponds during rain and wind to minimize exposure to airborne toxins - and the water is cleansed constantly.
Unless and until the planet is restored to the more pristine world we dream of, we need to be sure not to buy chlorella that is claimed to be grown in pristine waters in the wild - there are none...
As to olive oils, Bariani brand is favored by raw foodists; it is the one I use right now - but the best is Carothers. I am waiting for word on Carothers, as the wonderful woman who managed the company has bought it from Doug Wolfe and last I heard they were going to go back into production soon. Never found an olive oil as fabulous as Carothers - will certainly announce its availability on my site as soon as I hear anything.
Your other question; cilantro is not necessary to use with chlorella though taken 30 - 60 min before chlorella can mobilize metals from nerve tissue. Chlorella is an excellent supplement without using cilantro. EDTA suppositories work very well and also pure amino acids are very effective chelators.
