Lemon olive oil gallbladder flush is a therapy clients and readers like you often ask about.
Because this process is so 'labor intensive' and frequently uncomfortable, you would not be the first to wonder if there is an easier, more pleasant way to accomplish such important detoxification.
You might say there is a 'character-building' feature built in to this old and well-regarded natural cleansing method. Just hold half a cup of olive oil in your hand and imagine drinking all or most of it in the next minute. Notice how your body feels about that..!
As a veteran of several versions of this memorable process, I am happy to share some easier detox alternatives that give you the same and more benefits minus the 'zen moment' that accompanies the old way...
"I was thinking of doing a lemon olive oil gall bladder flush. Is there a way I can do a cleanse WITHOUT using olive oil? thanks."
Answer: While lemon olive oil gallbladder flush is an old remedy, and does provide valuable detoxification benefits, you CAN easily do a gallbladder flush without using olive oil.
In fact, drinking 1/4 cup or more of olive oil can cause major discomfort for many people precisely because it is far more fat than our body is designed to handle at one time.
Ironically, it is people with clogged livers and gallbladders that have the hardest time handling fat and are the ones who often use the lemon olive oil gallbladder flush.
With many reports of doing good, the lemon olive oil gallbladder flush has a good reputation. However, its main function is to stimulate the gallbladder to contract and expel bile. It also has value as a liver cleanse, since bile is made in the liver. Expelling the bile allows the liver to move waste products out.
However, there are some magnificent ways to accomplish the same thing and reap some additional benefits.
It is of interest that the liver cleanse of choice for the successful natural cancer treatments done by Gerson, Kelley and now Dr. Nicholas Gonzalez is the coffee enema. You might want to read through the many articles I have written on coffee enema as a liver gallbladder flush.
I personally have done a few different versions of this cleanse in the past. While they were 'interesting' and productive experiences, I haven't done them in a long time. I find the coffee enema works REALLY well and has additional benefits. I also use the Glytamins and Xeneplex and find them to have a wonderful effect.
To sum up, you don't need to drink copious amounts of olive oil to cleanse liver and gallbladder.
Another issue is the QUALITY of all that olive oil you are ingesting - it might not even be olive oil! and could be rancid, too! For insight into olive oil quality you will want to read my article about olive oil scams.
