Phospholipids EDTA Oral Chelation Review
Phospholipids EDTA oral chelation is a viable form of detoxifying and healing your body...
but ONLY when you choose a professional product with excellent ingredients, from a company known for spotless integrity and the clinical effectiveness of its products.
In my effort to find the very BEST products for you (and me ;-) I do a lot of research and personal experimentation. This involves investigating products that capture my attention by both their performance and the research and clinical evidence I unearth.
I use the products myself, learn about the rationale for the formulas, see how they work for clients and family. Once satisfied, I add them to the Peak Health Pantheon of hand picked products.
Phospholipids EDTA oral chelation is an area of investigation that has forced me to make an exception to my jaundiced view of oral chelation products in general.
Most EDTA oral chelation formulas just throw the EDTA in with some vitamins and minerals, or charge exorbitant prices for EDTA powder in capsules or powder to mix into liquids for drinking.
EDTA oral chelation that is not encapsulated in essential phospholipids is hard on the stomach of many, poorly absorbed (5%) and chelates nutrient minerals out of your digestive tract, leaving you more mineral-starved than you might suspect.
Phospholipids EDTA Oral Chelation: a Whole Different Story
As a constant seeker of truth, sometimes I must eat my words. When new information that is important to you presents itself, I let you know about it. My experience with Enhanced Phospholipid Exchange (new window) was so compelling that it convinced me I had to make an exception. I was right about the vast majority of EDTA oral chelation products on the market, but this product convinced me to take a second look...
I am so glad I did! Enhanced Phospholipid EDTA Oral Chelation has become a staple formula for both me and my husband, and clients are discovering the benefits and pleasure it brings.
Phospholipids EDTA Oral Chelation: How Do I Evaluate the Products?
I evaluated the two competing formulas from several perspectives:
* Which is most economical in terms of nutrient potency?
* Which one has the most noticeable profound effects and benefits?
* Which has the least amount of preservatives?
* Which one tastes best and has a quality 'feel' to it?
Below is my review of two top professional formulas.
Lipo-Phos vs. Enhanced Phospholipid Exchange: Which is the Highest Quality?
Ingredients: Total per bottle...
Total is 2 oz per bottle in both products. However, a single recommended dose of the Lipo-Phos is 1 oz and of the Enhanced Phospholipid Exchange is 1/2 oz (1 tablespoon). The Lipo-Phos is approx. half the price of the Enhanced Phospholipid Exchange, but has half as many doses - so the pricing is similar.
Ingredient Breakdown for Both Formulas - per Bottle:
**Note: 1000 mg Sodium EDTA is too high a dose for most people.
25 mg ALA (Alpha-Lipoic Acid)................50 mg ALA (Alpha-Lipoic Acid)
Stabilizers and Preservatives:
Enhanced Phospholipid Exchange: Purified water, ethanol, xanthan and sodium benzoate.
Lipo-Phos:De-ionized water, lecithin, ethanol, glycine and xanthan gum
**Note: Soy lecithin is a cheap filler with questionable viability for human consumption. While Lipo-Phos is a decent product put out by a company that on the whole has an excellent reputation for quality. I question why they would include it, instead of taking up that space in the bottle with Essential Phospholipids to confer the fabulous benefits they offer.
Not even close! Enhanced Phospholipid Exchange wins by a long shot. Rich, dense and creamy from the generous dose of Essential Phospholipids, its mild flavor adds body to the Mucuna Pruriens recipes (new window) I love.
Unfortunately, there is an obvious acrid undertone to the taste of the Lipo-Phos that I find disagreeable. Perhaps its poor flavor is due to a higher amount of preservatives and/or nearly half the lipid content of lecithin.
Phospholipids EDTA Oral Chelation: How Effective?
Despite the equal amount of EDTA if you divide the contents of both products' bottles in 4 doses, the Enhanced Phospholipid Exchange provides a deeper and more pronounced feeling of healing relaxation.
Enhanced Phospholipid Exchange comes to you in glass bottles; Lipo-phos in plastic - enough said.
So there you have a picture of how I evaluate ALL formulas. Maybe you can see why products are added slowly to this website, and comprise a select few.
I choose products for you the way I choose them for myself and my loved ones!
