Medicardium and Endosterol:

Questions and Answers on These and Other Supplements

Medicardium and Endosterol - questions and answers, and discussion of Xeneplex, Glytamins, Chlorella and other supplements.

Medicardium and Endosterol are part of the chosen protocol of one of my clients, a man from the southwest US.

Now in his early 50's, he has already been quite proactive in pursuing Peak Health, and is looking for the best ways to maintain abundant vitality for many years to come.

Question: Hello Ellen, I'm interested in the Medicardium EDTA in largest dose (I'm 195 lbs) and the Endosterol. At 52 years old I'm just starting to have a bit of *BPH symptoms. I have mild ED (erectile dysfunction) and lowered libido. I would like to ask if both of these products can be used together or alternating every other day? I want to attack this problem and stop it's progress and hopefully reverse it.

I am of course interested in experiencing the other benefits of EDTA. I am thinking of buying the Medicardium and Endosterol. If you have any other suggestions for a good protocol please let me know and also your discount pricing. Thanks!

*BPH is Benign Prostate Hypertrophy - a swelling of the prostate which if severe, can become VERY painful to the point where sitting, sexual arousal and certain forms of exercise cause great discomfort. BPH also can put pressure on the urethra, interfering with urination, and also put pressure on the bladder, causing the need for frequent urination.

As well, Benign Prostate Hypertrophy is associated with inflammation and also 'prostate stones' or calculi - calcium deposits - in the prostate gland.

Answer: Thanks for your inquiry!

Yes, I have a LOT of ideas on male potency protocols! (new window)

This is a passion of mine; my most recent intensive research is on just that issue - I've been doing a lot of writing, and putting together some male potency packages to offer on my site.

I am creating a deluxe package which includes Medicardium and Endosterol, as well as some oral supplements and transdermal formulas (liposomal creams with hormone balancing ingredients designed to penetrate the skin).

Ideas on Using Medicardium and Endosterol Together

In answer to your questions:

The Medicardium EDTA comes in only the 365 mg size, because the scientist who developed it determined that this was the dose which could never harm anyone, even a child.

I tend to favor the Medicardium formula over Calcium Di-Sodium formulas (new window) these days, because of its Magnesium Di-Potassium base, which helps balance the nervous system in the vast majority of people.

Medicardium ALSO helps calcifications in ANY part of the body. Prostate calculi - also called 'prostate stones' can often be an issue that compounds the problem of prostate inflammation!

Medicardium and Endosterol work together to support prostate health- helping to chelate calcium deposits out of the prostate and reducing inflammation and hormonal imbalance.

Since you are a large individual, after initiating the protocol gradually over a few days, you CAN even combine the Medicardium and Endosterol in one treatment - inserting one of each together before going to sleep (I think that was one of your questions)? You can also insert 2 Medicardium, assuming you have no serious health issues.

The Medicardium also helps to keep calcium from building up in the muscles, organs, etc. so it is an excellent way to stay young and keep the body supple.

My client's Medicardium and Endosterol protocol ideas:

Hello Ellen,

Thank you very much for the detailed information. After looking at some more information on Medicardium I think that initially this is where I should start. One article that caught my attention was about how Medicardium does a really good job of helping eliminate excess iron. I have always had a very high measured hemoglobin and have felt that I borderline on iron overload at the tissue level.

My thought (and some variations) is to start Medicardium at the 10 suppository/30 day protocol and then add the Endosterol protocol with a second 30 day Medicardium protocol. You mentioned that due to my size the Medicardium dose could be increased so I thought about increasing the dose to every 2nd day instead of every 3rd, or 15 each month instead of 10. Personally I don't have a problem doing 1 dose every night initially because that is still a far lower dose than the 1000mg every other night that is suggested for Detoxamin. My main thought here is I think I can get more accomplished with the higher dose Medicardium and later add the Endosterol when I reduce the Medicardium dose to maintenance in after 2-3 months.

Answer:Your ideas sound good to me; if you just want to try a couple of months to start, 2 boxes Medicardium and 1 box Endosterol would do it.

You can experiment to see what makes you feel the best.

I will look over the rest of your information below and comment on it in a second email :-)

You might also want to think about a Trace Mineral Hair Analysis to get a baseline on your minerals and some excellent protocol suggestions. I just had this process done, and it was eye-opening for me, even with all my years of experience! (It also revealed that after nearly dying of extreme mercury toxicity, they could not even find an amount of mercury to measure at all in my sample, and ALL my toxic metals were nearly undetectable - so the EDTA suppositories did a fabulous job in that regard)!

This test can tell you things that can't be deduced just through conversation...

My page describing the test is here, with access to a password-protected page where you can obtain it: Trace Elements Laboratory: Top Hair Trace Mineral Testing Facility in the US (new window)

More Questions - with Answers in text:

Hello Ellen,

Just to let you know I will be ordering the Medicardium and Endosterol early next week (after I get paid!). I could not locate the price for hair analysis but I did have that done a couple of years ago and maybe I'll get this done again through you when I've got the 2 months completed. Also I'm interested in learning more about the progesterone cream and how to use it.

Answer: 1/8 t daily - men don't need as much as women - it's inexpensive and goes a long way.

Question:One question I wanted to ask you involves water.

I know there is a lot of debate about distilled water and the long term effects of drinking it although Paul Bragg, Norman Walker and others supposedly drank it and lived to an advanced age. Because it is a powerful solvent do you think that drinking distilled water would actually HELP with the chelation process or cause a PROBLEM? Otherwise I drink a bottled water (in glass bottles) called Mountain Valley Spring Water which is from Arkansas and bottled at the same spring since 1871.

Answer:Distilled water is VERY acidic pH3.5 or something like that if I remember correctly.

NOTE: Norman Walker and others also drank a lot of vegetable juices, which are alkaline and mineral rich and could counter the problems with the very acidic pH of distilled water.

Peter Ragnar has some interesting information on the positive effects of distilled water but i don't know who to believe. I do have a portable water distiller with post carbon filter at home so it would be no problem to make the water I need.

Question: A couple of notes about my health are I don't take any medications of any kind and I had all my silver fillings removed a few years back by a biological dentist.

Answer: Even more reason to do the Medicardium and Endosterol protocol - no matter how careful and skilled the dentist, can't avoid a toxic exposure during removal - only try to minimize it.

Medicardium and Endosterol work together to remove heavy metals and balance hormones that the toxic metals have thrown out of balance. Plus Endosterol has some Magnesium Di-Potassium EDTA in it as well.

Question:I know that andropause is affecting me and I'm one of those guys who started losing my hair in my late teens. Also developed a lot of body hair which I think is connected. I have been taking a DIM product for a couple of months to help with the possible testosterone to estrogen to DHT conversion I may be experiencing. Other than that the only other irregular lifestyle issue I have is I work nights which I know is not best for hormone production.

Seems like I'm rambling here trying to give you information so I'll just say thanks again for your help and look for my order early next week. Any advice you have to offer I would love to hear. Take care and have a great week.

Question: I thought I would detail my daily supplement routine to see if you have any suggested changes:

I take a highly rated multi from NSI, 6-8 grams of OptiMSM, 2 grams of Rutin, 60 mg Optizinc, 400mg Magnesium Citrate, Life Extension Foundation's Ultra Prostate formula, 500mg NSI-GliSODin-SOD-Catalase and 20mg Lutein. This is my daily routine and I would like your opinion on this combination. Also I would like pricing on the creams, gel and amino acid formula you mentioned.

Answer:In between everything else (busy here), I've looked over the info on the supplement links you supplied.

I looked up NSI in my professional supplier's site - they have a few hundred brands, all of which are good, but even with them, I have to pick and choose the very best.

NSI brand is not listed there, so I am skeptical of quality. Not familiar with them at all, so can't comment as far as personal experience.

Looking over the ingredients in the NSI multi, Vitamin K in two forms - for certain people, not good as it tends to encourage blood thickening (clotting). Besides being dangerous for some, this can also slow circulation and with issues like ED, we want to have optimally free-flowing circulation. Ingredients look ok, but I am skeptical about quality with this brand.

Also, potency is low for the price - 6 capsules to add up to the potency on the label!!

Very few brands, no matter what the labels and ads say, are excellent quality - less than 1%, being generous.

**As far as the select products I provide, in most cases, I know the company owners and company reputation when I offer any product. I speak with them by phone, and also carry these brands because I and my clients can FEEL the benefits.**

Also, these are the same products holistic doctors carry in their clinic stores (I know; I spent all too much time in doctors' offices a number of years ago ;-)

6 - 8 grams of MSM is a large dose to be taking daily. I was doing that for awhile and somehow had the intuition to add some molybdenum (a mineral) to my protocol. Dr. Warren Levin, my doctor at the time said I must have some 'good guidance' to have done that.

The Life Extension Ultra Prostate: Phytosterols are very poorly absorbed orally - only 5% absorption, see: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov.pubmed/6530902

Protocol Ideas That Work Well With Medicardium and Endosterol

Hello Ellen,

Just wanted to let you know that I did start on the Medicardium and Endosterol (alt every other night) along with the chlorella at about 6 grams a day. If you have time I wanted to ask you a couple of questions.

Answer: Love to hear any of your experience of how you feel during or after taking the Medicardium and Endosterol.

Question: It was an eye opener for me to learn that drinking coffee could be counterproductive concerning detox of the liver and gall bladder. This is a hard one for me working nights so I wanted to know if you feel there should be no coffee when using these products or if coffee is consumed should it be spaced a certain time before or after the suppositories?

Answer: With or without coffee, the Medicardium and Endosterol plus the Chlorella will still provide benefits. How much coffee do you drink? If more than a cup or two on a regular 4 - 5 days a week basis, that is a significant influence on liver function.

While I have not (yet) met Dr. Gonzalez or interviewed him, he is one of those few people in the medical field whose opinion I have a good deal of regard for. His comments on the effects of coffee enema on liver function   (new window) are very interesting and from my experience, make a lot of sense.

Anyone who knows me well knows that I 'go for the gold' when it comes to optimizing a healthy lifestyle. So yes, it would be ideal if you could minimize or even eliminate the use of coffee orally. However, 1 - I can think of a lot worse things to be imbibing than coffee;  2 - As you optimize your nutritional protocol, you may find a lot less need for coffee (orally that is).

**Perhaps you might want to experiment with the Xeneplex coffee suppositories. They are designed to provide benefits that work in tandem with the Medicardium and Endosterol.

If you have a 30 - 40 minute break at work and a place to lie down for a bit, the Xeneplex could provide a noticeable lift and increased mental clarity. My husband found Xeneplex to increase alertness and thinking ability. We do the coffee enemas and they are, as I exclaim on my site, fantastic! So we don't need to use Xeneplex. However if we did not do . You could try a Xeneplex detox suppository at home first to make sure that after lying down for half hour for a 'coffee break,' you could get up and go about work without concern of any remains of the melted suppository seeping out.

Comments on my initial results of following the recommendations in my Hair Trace Mineral Analysis report...

The other thing that may be VERY helpful for finding ways to increase energy and alertness - is getting the Hair Trace Mineral Analysis done.

I just had the hair analysis done 3 weeks ago, in keeping with my policy of experiencing the products and services I offer. I also am studying the book on its clinical application, principles and science, written by Dr. David Watts PhD, who heads Trace Elements Laboratory and has done clinical studies on hundreds of thousands of patients.

I won't go into the details for lack of time, though I will be putting up a page on my experience. Suffice it to say that just by following a few important dietary suggestions given in the report on my hair analysis, I am feeling VERY different! Physically stronger (can lift heavier weights with more reps and very little muscle soreness afterward), more alert, more resilient to stress AND much more energy. I feel significantly increased sense of stamina, sleep better and feel like I have a greater abundance of testosterone (women need it too) and other youthful hormones.

Question: I think I need the Glycamins after I finish the 40 days of Medicardium and Endosterol. My question here is would it a good idea to try the higher dose Detoxamin even though it contains calcium if the goal is to include decreasing tissue calcium levels?

Answer: See how you feel with the Medicardium and Endosterol. The only way to know how you like the Detoxamin is to try a small amount - say 15 of the 750 mg suppositories. If it were me, I would use a Detoxamin suppository the day after a rest (no suppository) day. Then a Medicardium and Endosterol - and take a day off and repeat. That way, the Detoxamin can work to get the heavier metals out and the Medicardium can take up where the Detoxamin left off and get more calcium out of the soft tissues.

The most important thing is to keep fine-tuning your body awareness. Notice as much as you can before, during and after your Medicardium and Endosterol treatments. I learned by trying, then changing something here or there and seeing how I felt. (You get pretty good at that sort of thing when you have to save your own life!  ;-)

Question I understand the logic to avoiding calcium but is the net result to chelate calcium out of tissue with this product?

Answer: Spencer Feldman says that one's response to Medicardium is a good indicator of whether a calcium supplement may be needed. If some muscle cramps appear as a result, he suggests taking a small amount (maybe 100 gm) of Calcium Gluconate - a most easily absorbed form of calcium, between 8 - 12 hrs after inserting a Medicardium suppository. The reason to take it at that time is that during that window of time, the body perceives a lack of calcium and will store the calcium where it belongs - in bones and teeth. I have used this suggestion with good results.

Question: On the website of Dr. Klinghardt he mentions the Biopure products Organic Wild Cilantro Tincture in hot water and Matrix Metals Liquid as very helpful in detox. He mentioned others too but for these 2 products do you think they are of any help and if so do you have special pricing? Looks like Biopure has many great products and I'm thinking of ordering the Sockeye Salmon Oil when my fish oil supply is finished.

I provide special pricing on any product from any of my suppliers, so just let me know what you need. (I haven't used the products you just mentioned, but judging by how well I like the results of using their Chlorella, I am confident they are made with the same attention to quality.

Question: Somewhere on your site you mentioned Natren probiotics and I'm wondering which product you think is best in the probiotic area?

Answer: Yes, Natren is the ONLY probiotic I recommend! I probably should get my personal experience of that product up on the site - had it on my old blog but took it down. 'Knocked my socks off' is the accolade I would use, and I saw this repeated with many of my clients, too! Do NOT buy cheap from a discount site - they don't keep the products in cold storage or ship with cold packs. I will provide shipping straight from Natren with special pricing and they will arrive first class in a refrigerated box! Let me know and I will send price list. Good encouragement to get products up on my site!

Question: Do you have any thoughts on zeolite and detox? I've read good and bad.

Answer: Until proven in real clinical practice, I suspect a new get-rich-quick MLM scheme with catchy, exotic buzzwords and a lot of hype 'piled higher and deeper.' Supposedly Gabriel Cousens, an MD who insists vegan diet is the diet for everyone, did a 'clinical' study on a bunch of people at his health farm. But no scientific method, controls, placebos or other means in place to make it science-worthy.

'Zeolite' can refer to a number of different structures, but typically refers to a 'crystalline, porous aluminosilicate.' Why would I want to put something containing an aluminum compound into my body? Seems counterproductive when I've used Medicardium and Endosterol, plus other means to detoxify toxic metals OUT of my body!

Zeolite products can contain anything, and unless you want to have it assayed at an independent laboratory, you don't know if it isn't just made of sanitized sand!

My jaundiced view is based on research into other such products. For example, Super Blue-Green Algae. From a pristine lake in the wilderness. However, a friend of ours actually went out to Lake Klamath and saw - motorboats having a field day on that very same lake. 'Oh, but we harvest it from the clean part of the lake..' Yah!

Here is a quote from Wikipedia: 'Naturally occurring zeolites are rarely pure and are contaminated to varying degrees by other minerals, metals, quartz, or other zeolites. For this reason, naturally occurring zeolites are excluded from many important commercial applications where uniformity and purity are essential.'

Here are links to the only seemingly fact-based articles I could find about Zeolite - all the rest are sales pieces for (mostly) MLM companies with no science. You will notice in these articles no mention of human health applications for zeolite.

http://www.personal.utulsa.edu/~geoffrey-price/zeolite/zeo_narr.htm

http://www.colorado.edu/che/faculty/falconer/ZeoliteResearch.html

Yes, I use my own and others' testimonials, but the ingredients in the products I provide have solid clinical and scientific research behind them.

You might notice that zeolite is said to be an excellent water softener because it can pick up the 'hard' magnesium and calcium cations - i.e. take enough of it and you can reduce your body stores of magnesium, calcium and who knows what else?! Unlike Magnesium Di-Potassium EDTA, which chelates calcium out of the soft tissues, but tips the balance to stimulate the body to store that calcium where it belongs - in the bones and teeth.

Oh, yes, and zeolite's adsorbent capacity is also made excellent use of in - cat litter!

While it has been used in animal husbandry for some detoxification applications, I couldn't find evidence of use in human applications. I am open to being proven wrong, but very skeptical at this point.

The Medicardium and Endosterol have solidly proven their worth in my practice, but I have grave reservations about zeolite.

Excellent questions, thanks!

Sincerely,

Ellen
