Joint Pain Causes

Joint pain causes like osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, inflammation and injury are very limited concepts in and of themselves. To understand - and find safe, effective solutions demands a rigorous, knowledgeable, persistent inquiry.

Osteoarthritis is over-simplified, said to be due to wear and tear issues. Joint Pain Causes: Inflammation

Joint pain causes ALWAYS involve inflammation. Inflammation is your body's way of trying to heal, but when it goes on too long, bone, cartilage and ligaments are subjected to increasing amounts of damage.

Inflammation is primarily from toxins: Heavy metals, plant toxins, EMF/Wi-Fi/microwave, environmental toxins and also endogenous (produced by your own body) toxins due to stress.

OVERUSE is commonly cited as a big cause of bone, cartilage and ligament deterioration. Except in cases of EXTREME overuse (Ironman Triathlon, excessive weight training and other endeavors taxing the limits of endurance - OR going too fast when starting an exercise program), overuse is not the main issue.

DISUSE (sedentary lifestyle) is a BIG cause of deterioration of bones and related tissues. This is because stagnant tissues accumulate toxins and don't assimilate nutrients as well as those in a person who engages in healthy movement.

ALSO - over time, exercise calls on your body to lay down more tissue - making ligaments, bones and cartilage thicker, stronger and more elastic. Intelligent exercise also renews and replenishes the synovial fluid - a gel-like 'cushion' that protects articular cartilage from damage.

Inflammation is at the root of almost all knee, hip and other 'replacement' surgery to install a medical device that cannot function as well as the original.

Most inflammation (except inflammation from an injury) results from various kinds of toxins discussed in detail below. No matter the toxin, unless the situation is addressed, perfectly sound body structures that support healthy, joyful movement - are eventually destroyed.

Joint Pain Causes: Keep Asking Questions to Solve Them

Don't just accept the first answer you get on how to solve joint pain causes!

You will go far by prodigious use of the word 'WHY?'

If told, 'You are hurting because you have osteoarthritis. The solution is to take a pain reliever.' your response would be:

'WHY do I have osteoarthritis and is a pain reliever going to restore my ligaments and cartilage to an optimally healthy state?'

If told, 'You have osteoarthritis because you did too much weight-bearing activity,' you might ask:

'WHY would that have caused osteoarthritis when I know people who have done much MORE such activity and they are fine? What - if anything - is different in my life that could have caused MY body to break down faster than so-and-so?'

Beyond that, you look for solutions: 'What permanent changes in lifestyle do I have to make to stop the deterioration? What short or long-term therapies, supplements, etc. may help restore function?'


Joint Pain Causes List

STRESS: Mental / emotional stress alone, even with relatively healthy lifestyle and environment is probably the number one cause of joint pain.

You see, stress causes constant exposure of body tissues to corrosive chemicals made in your own body. Cartilage and ligaments weaken, then becoming susceptible to various microorganisms which feed on the tissues - eventually causing osteoarthritis or rheumatoid arthritis.

EXCESSIVE REPETITIVE ACTIVITY: Are you a fanatic long-distance runner or weightlifter? Running and weightlifting are healthy activities UNLESS done to excess. Injury can result from repetitive activity - but you could be more susceptible if you have the following: 1) inflammation due to toxicity (metals, chemical exposure, etc.), 2) poor diet lacking nutrients needed to support ligaments and cartilage, 3) STRESS (which causes overproduction of cortisol, which is catabolic - breaks down body tissues).

INFLAMMATION: Basically caused by stress reactions in your body - stress causes secretion of endogenous (coming from body's own processes) compounds which IRRITATE and BREAK DOWN TISSUE. Inflammation can result from: toxins, infections, stress and metabolic and hormonal imbalances.

INJURY: Joint pain causes of course include outright injury. Strains, sprains and bone fractures can leave scar tissue and other impediments to smooth physiological functioning.
