Food Allergies: Causes and Solutions

Food allergies CAN be helped. Tolerance to many kinds of good food can be increased, and you can return to a normal healthy diet.

Even the Worst Food Allergies Can be Relieved!

My experience of healing severe dietary limitations may provide some answers for you.

During the worst few years of my health challenges, there were only two foods that I could eat without bringing on body pain, headache, fatigue, brain fog and emotional distress.

They were...

Lettuce and coconut oil!

I couldn't even eat organic turkey, goat dairy products and other low-allergic foods without distress.

Forget about raw cream, organic eggs, low-spray apples from local orchards, raw almonds and other delicious, healthy foods I had enjoyed for years! Don't even mention grass fed beef and dark chocolate..!

One food supplement I did find very helpful was Chlorella.

This super green food is first in its class when it comes to providing superb nutritional content and detox capabilities.

Please make sure you do your research and get a brand that is grown properly. My experience with a popular (cheap) brand I bought in a health store showed me that Chlorella side effects are a distinct possibility with an inferior product!

Food Allergies: No Help From My Doctors

My holistic MD's used electrodermal testing to determine what compounds in foods I was reacting to. Then they would create personalized homeopathic preparations (called 'phenolic remedies' because the phenols in foods were the allergens) to solve the problem.

It was a fruitless endeavor. The remedies (which were changed every few weeks - $250.00 each time!) worked temporarily, then failed. No help!

The doctors then gave me a medication (I think it was called Cholinesterase) to block the allergic reaction in my stomach. For a couple of weeks, I was able to eat almost anything - even tomatoes, raw cream and beef! HOWEVER, when I stopped taking the medicine, there was a severe backlash and the allergies returned with a vengeance.

No More Food Allergies!

Now, I delight in consuming raw cream, homemade butter and cheese, eggs, grass fed beef, apples, even a little chocolate and occasionally a small amount of wheat!

How did I do it?

I have some good news and some bad news.

The bad news is that there is no instant solution that I know of that will give sustained results.

Permanently relieving food allergies takes TIME and some effort.

The good news is that there is a lasting solution to what is all too often thought of as a permanent problem. You don't necessarily need to resign yourself to a lifetime of boring rotation diets and worry about enjoying a variety of healthy foods.
