The best oral EDTA chelation product also provides a host of other benefits.
The 5500 mg of soy phopholipid complex in Lipo-Health is 40% phosphatidyl choline. There are well over 500+ research studies showing that phospholipid complex gives powerful support to healing and maintaining brain and nervous system, liver, kidneys and other fatty tissues of the body.
The formula of which I speak is Lipo-Health, a relatively new, more convenient powder form of Phospholipid Exchange, which it replaces.
In addition, Lipo-Health is ECONOMICAL! The label states that one container has 30 servings.
My personal experience is that 1/2 or even 1/4 the amount recommended goes a long way and has a wonderful effect.CANADA PRIORITY EXPRESS MAIL SHIPPING: OVERSEAS PRIORITY EXPRESS MAIL SHIPPING

Research & More Information Lipo-Health is a special powder formula made up of microsphere-encapsulated Disodium EDTA, Alpha-Lipoic Acid, essential phospholipids, and Magnesium Chloride. Each of these ingredients is beneficial in its own way, and together, they support one another as an effective oral chelation formula that helps to remove toxins and heavy metals, while at the same time bolstering the lipidomics1 of your body, supporting cardiovascular health, and synergistically enhancing the effects of other beneficial supplements taken along with it.
With each 6.6 gram serving of LipoHealth, you get 5500 mg of valuable phospholipid complex derived from soy-based lecithin. 40% of that complex is the essential phospholipid known as phosphatidylcholine (PC). Our bodies can synthesize some phospholipids, but PC is one of the essential ones that must be obtained in our diet from foods such as egg yolk, soy products, beef, fish, or from supplements. It is one of the most important and abundant lipids in animal cells. Phosphatidylcholine’s unique structure includes a choline head and an omega-6 fatty acid chain, both of which are important subcomponents when PC is broken down9. The fact that PC has both hydrophilic and hydrophobic properties within itself makes it a perfect structural component of cellular membranes and accounts for it playing so many critical roles in cell membrane interactions throughout our bodies2,3. Phosphatidylcholine has a particularly prominent presence in the extensive cell membrane surfaces of the liver, where it aids in repairing damage from toxins, metals, pharmaceuticals, and viruses4. Its antioxidant quality is believed to exert protective effects against alcohol damage to liver cells5 and its anti-inflammatory qualities may help in the management of hepatitis6. PC is also critical in the transmission of nerve impulses throughout the nervous system and in proper brain function, where it may be useful in treating cognitive disorders such as dementia and Alzheimers7,8,9. It is also important to the immune system10.
The rich phospholipid complex in BioPure’s LipoHealth formula forms double-layered membranes around tiny bubble-like vesicles, sometimes called “liposomes”. Liposomes are the focus of a significant amount of attention in modern research because these little packages can be filled with drugs, herbs, or other beneficial substances, and serve as transport vehicles to targeted locations within the body11,12,13. The bioavailability of the contents is increased by an affinity with the phospholipids in our own cell membranes. When taken along with herbal supplements, the phospholipids can have a strong synergistic effect, creating a “push” or boost of the herb’s beneficial effects12,13. Phospholipid microspheres protect, stabilize, and enhance the delivery of their contents, which in the case of BioPure’s LipoHealth, is the chelating agent, Disodium EDTA.
Disodium EDTA is an FDA-approved substance commonly used by healthcare practitioners to remove toxic substances from the body, including lead, mercury, arsenic, cadmium and others14,15,16. EDTA is a synthetic amino acid and acts as a chelating agent that grabs and binds with heavy metals, rendering the metals less reactive and facilitating their removal from the body via normal excretion pathways such as urine or feces. EDTA produces relatively no ill side effects–in fact it has been found to be less than half as toxic as aspirin17. Tiny phospholipid-walled microspheres are small enough to pass the blood brain barrier18 where they can be beneficial against brain disorders such as Alzheimers19, Parkinson’s20, and autism, according to a number of research professionals15,20. Some studies21 have also shown EDTA to have the added benefit of breaking up arterial plaque calcium deposits in a sort of “reverse cholesterol transport” pathway22,23, and thus aiding in the prevention of cardiovascular disease. Although clinical research on the use of EDTA in relation to cardiovascular disease is inconclusive, and the substance is not yet FDA-approved for this purpose, there are many practitioners using Disodium EDTA in this manner24.
Also, in each serving of LipoHealth, you get 25 mg of R+Lipoic Acid, also referred to as Alpha Lipoic Acid, ALA, or simply Lipoic Acid. The R+ form of this chemical is the free, naturally occurring isomer of this substance. Lipoic Acid is found in every cell in the body25. In addition to being a powerful antioxidant, ALA is also important in a variety of other bodilyfunctions. It is involved in the regulation of cholesterol26. It improves glucose and ascorbate handling and increases nitric oxide synthase activity in cell membranes27. It has also been found to significantly increase insulin sensitivity in type 2 Diabetes patients28 and to improve microcirculation in Diabetic patients with peripheral neuropathy29.
Finally, your serving of LipoHealth supplies you with 4 mg of Magnesium (from MgCl2). Magnesium is an important mineral cation, and is essential to all living cells. It is heavily involved in energy production, synthesis of proteins and nucleic acids, and cell membrane reactions. Magnesium deficiencies in the body can result in weakness, seizures, tremors, cardiac arrhythmias, and imbalances in the levels of other important nutrients and hormones30,31. Some studies have shown a reduction in atherosclerosis32 and a lowered risk of heart arythmias33 following heart attacks when Magnesium is supplemented to the diet.
