I've been an organic garlic grower for over 19 years. Here are some newly dug garlic bulbs from this year's harvest, laid out to cure in the wood shed.

My latest gardening endeavor is lily breeding experiments. Here, I am applying the pollen from the stamens (male part) of an orange Rocket City daylily to the pistil (female part) of an heirloom variety known as Hyperion. Below is the first flower resulting from this breeding.
